Hydraulic fast nozzle changer (FNC) mechanism featuring a protective shield and air cooling for a continuous casting machine (CCM). This cassette-type device is located beneath the bottom of the production ladle and replaces worn-out metering nozzles with new ones in 0.2-0.3 seconds.
